However, there’s an issue with how the layer is being SHOWN to me in real time as I draw. All the pixels are there, plentiful and as dense as I want them to be. This is an indication that there isn’t a problem with the layer itself. By this, I mean, as I zoom in on a bitmap layer, the number of pixels doesn’t seem to decrease until I REALLY start to zoom in. The good news is that I don’t think the bitmap layers are pixelated in and of themselves. It’s as if I were drawing on a 1080p Full HD screen, instead of my 4K screen. I assumed that, just like in photoshop, if I make the resolution of a bitmap layer extremely high-even higher than my 4K Wacom screen-it should appear AS sharp as my 4K SCREEN can POSSIBLY make it look. I’ve tried increasing the pixel density of my layers, and attempted to use bitmap as well (as opposed to vector). And OpenGL or CL or “antialiasing” or whatever doesn’t really help either, it just changes my lines and textures from looking pixelated into appearing blurry or fuzzy. I cannot figure out how to prevent my drawn storyboard pro lines from looking pixelated. It’s simple: when I choose a canvas with a high resolution, my 4K screen does a wonderful job of making sure it looks sharp and NOT pixelated. You see, I’m used to using adobe photoshop. The issue is that my drawings always appear pixelated in storyboard pro. I draw on a cintiq pro 24 with a crystal clear 4k resolution. I’m pretty new to toonboom storyboard pro, but I’m determined to learn.
